Memorymoog Demo
BackThis is a Moog Memorymoog. I paid $900 USD in 2002 for this beast. A couple of years ago I had some work done which brought the modulation section back into working order and added the Kenton Midi retrofit. 5 voices tune properly, one of the voice cards I suspect has a fracture. Every time after performing an autotune I have to defeat (keep it from sounding) the out of tune voice card. The audio for this video was recorded into Cubase SX3 through an E-mu 1616M audio interface. Absolutely no effects were added. Most patches programmed by me! This demo is guerrilla style with mostly noodling - no rehearsing whatsoever...can you tell?? So please take it easy with the comments. Maybe I make a better vid later. And sorry for the squarepusher riff :) Update: I've suspected the bum voice card has a fracture since all the separate card components appear to be in working order. I've corresponded with Rudi Linhard some time ago about this and he appeared stumped a bit, too...I still appreciate his input very much. I looked several years for a replacement card (they are rare as rocking horse poo) and obtained a one recently. Hope to try it out soon. The project continues!
