A Nelena Story (Waiting Love) Episode 10
BackContinuing from Episode 9! It's FINALLY here! --------------------------------------- Someone rings the doorbell at Selena's house. Selena: Can I call you back? There's someone at the door. Nick: Oh, yeah, sure. *thinking: Does she not want to go with me?* They hang up. Selena runs downstairs and opens the door. Selena: Joe? What are you doing here? Joe: I just wanted to see you. Selena: Oh. *surprised* Okay, well come in. Joe: *walks in and they sit down on the couch* So, what are you up to? Selena: Nothing really. I was just on the phone. Joe: Oh... Selena: Seriously, Joe, what are you doing here? Joe: I just wanted to know if you wanted to go to prom with me? Selena: Uh, um, w-well...uh... Joe: *stands up* Oh, it's okay. I'll just *sighs* ask someone else. I'll see you later. *starts walking toward the door* Selena: *sighs* *thinking: I know I'm gonna regret this!* Joe, I'll go with you. Joe: *turns around* You will? Selena: Yeah...just don't dress up as Barney or I'll kill you! *laughs* Joe: Hey! You can ONLY kill me if I get to take off the costume first! Selena: *glares at him* Joe: What?! Only kidding! Selena: *laughs and hits him playfully* Joe: *awkward silence* So I should be going now. Selena: Bye. *hugs him* Joe: Bye. *he leaves* Selena: *sighs* This is gonna be quite an experience. *picks up her phone and calls Nick* Nick? I can't go with you. *sighs* Sorry. Nick: *sad* Oh. Okay. Selena: But you'll still be going, right? Nick: Oh, uh, yeah. Selena: Okay. Nick: Wait. You mean you're going with someone else? Selena: Yeah. *nervous* Nick: Who? Selena: Um...J-Joe. Nick: WHA- I mean, I thought Demi was gonna go with him or something. Selena: No, she just wanted to. Oh gosh I forgot about that. Demi's gonna kill me! Nick: Don't worry about it. She'll get over it. I did. *thinking: Um, did I just say that?!* *laughs nervously* Selena: What do you mean? Nick: Uh...nothing. So how about we go to the mall tomorrow? Selena: You hate the mall. Nick: *says shyly* Well, I'll only go for my best friend. Selena: *smiles to herself* Sure. THE NEXT DAY Nick: *walks into Joe's room* What do you think you're doing going to prom with SELENA?!?! Joe: *shrugs* What do you mean? I thought you two didn't like eachother like that anymore or something. Nick: *nervously* Uh...we don't. Joe: Um...o...k. Nick: *looks at his watch* Gotta go. Joe: Where to? Nick: The mall. Joe: You hate the mall! Nick: I'm going with Selena. Joe: I should've known. I would never do that. Dude, do you even know how long it takes for girls to even get just one pair of pants? Like...5 hours! Nick: *rolls eyes* I doubt it's that bad. *he leaves* WITH SELENA Demi: You're going with J-J-J-J-J- Selena: Yes, JOE! Demi: B-But-W-Why?! Selena: Dems, listen, he was really sad because he thought I was saying no, and he would've been crushed if I really said no. Demi: So, he really DOESN'T like me that way? Selena: *shrugs* You never know. The doorbell rings. Selena: Bye Dems! Demi: *sighs* Bye Sel. Selena: *she opens the door* Hey Nick. They get to the mall. Selena: So...do you wanna go to Pinkberry? (A/N: In this mall, they have one in the food court. :]) Nick: I thought you'd want to go buy like...clothes or something. Selena: Well, I'll only go for my best friend. *laughs* Nick: *blushes* They go to Pinkberry. WITH JOE Joe: *calls Demi* Demi: Joe? Joe: Hey Demi, you wanna go to the mall? Demi: Wouldn't you rather go with Selena? Joe: She's already at the mall. Demi: She is? Joe: Yeah, I thought she would tell you. Demi: Nope, she was too busy getting ready. Joe: Do you wanna go or not? Demi: Yeah, sure. Meet me at the food court by Pinkberry. WITH NICK AND SELENA Selena: So, who are you going to prom with anyways? Nick: I don't know. No one, I guess. Selena: Why don't you ask someone? Nick: I already did but they decided to go with my brother instead. Selena: Uh...oops? Nick, I'm really sorry. Joe was just really upset because he thought- Nick: It's okay. I understand. Selena: Why did you ask me in the first place? Nick: Just like...a friend thing. Selena: Oh. Anyways, why don't you ask someone?! Nick: *shrugs* Selena: Come on, there's gotta be a girl you like. --------------------------------------- The end of episode 10! Will Joe and Demi happen?!?!
