Can't Have You {Nick Jonas Love Story} Chapter 42
Back*Ashleys P.O.V* Its been 3 weeks since the break up. I'm managing, but Larissa is worse than ever. Like shes trying to make me feel like crap. Caroline says to ignore it, but sometimes it just gets hard. But having Caroline there helps, she gives amazing advice. It was Thursday, and tomorrow was the talent show. Caroline has been helping me, but I'm still nervous. I have major stage fright and I don't want to freeze up on stage. Anyways, me and Caroline were standing outside and I saw someone standing outside, that I hoped I wouldnt ever see again. "Oh my gosh..." I said backing up. "What?" Caroline asked. "Thats Joe..." I said pointing to him. Why the hell was he here? "Wait, that guy, right there is Joe? The one that tried to rape you?" "Yeah..." I know Joe didnt mean to do that stuff that day, but I still don't trust him. "I'll be right back," Caroline said, putting down her bag and walking out to Joe. *Carolines P.O.V* I was so ready to beat this guys ass. I had been wanting to, but I had no clue who the douche was. Nows my chance. I walked up to him, and leaned against the car. "Hey you're Joe Jonas right?" I said, trying to flirt. Guys like this were easily pulled in by girls flirting. "Yeah, thats me. What's a pretty girl like you doing talking to a guy like me?" He said, attempting to flirt. More like make me barf. "Oh I just wanted to give you something." "Really? What?" I started to lean in, but right when we about to kiss, I pulled my hand back and smacked him across the face. He brought his hand up and stared at me. "What the hell was that for?" "For trying to rape my friend. Do it again, and you won't get as lucky as just a slap," I said walking off. Ashley's face was priceless. She was in shock and possibly awe. "Caroline... you're my hero," she said. "Eh, I do what I can." I said grabbing my bag, before I headed out to my car. *Ashleys P.O.V* Caroline is amazing. She walked out to her car, so I figured that that was my cue to start walking home. As I was about to leave Nick and Larissa walked out of the building. Larissa saw me and spun Nick around and kissed him. After she pulled away Nick turned and saw me. I shook my head and watched him walk out to Joe's car. They got in and drove off. I started to walk when Larissa said something. "It must hurt to know that you dont have Nick anymore," she said to me. I turned around to face her. "No, not really. I'm done with him." "Well thats good, cause I'm pretty sure we're gonna be together for a long time." "Or until you cheat on him. Like the slut you are." "Don't test me bitch. You don't have your precious Caroline to help you." "Honey, I could take you on if I wanted to." "Like you could even hurt a fly." That sent me over the edge. I brought my hand across her face, and smiled at my success. "Don't worry about trying to piss me off about the whole Nick thing. Cause you dont need to. I'm over him. I'm done with him," I said walking off. "Now she's walking around, talk of the town, she just cant shut up. Oh she's out there and she's having her fun. Spending her time, wasting mine, proving that she has you. Well the truth is she don't have to, she can have you, I'm done." I got home and decided to work on my performance for the talent show. I was about the start practicing when I heard Nick on the phone in his room, since his window was open. The boy talks so loud. "Hey David... yeah it's fine... no I'm not mad at you... talent show?... No, I don't go to those things... what do you mean Ashley is doing something?... I thought she had stage fright... she's singing? Singing what?... You want me to come to the talent show?... Ok, ok, I'll come... Later bro." He said hanging up. Perfect. He's going to be there. Now, I just had to conquer my stage fright before tomorrow ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Filler! And I love the song :).
