BackCHAPTER 23 Lana: What's taking so long? Kerry: I wonder if Kevin isn't listening to her... Nick: Joe, go check. Joe: Why me? Nick: Because you were the one that wanted to spy on them. Joe: What if they're kissing! Nick: (looks at him) Just go. Joe: Fine. (Joe turns around to go upstairs when they see Briana and Kevin walking down the stairs.) Joe: I guess I don't need to find them. Kerry: So... Briana: (looks at Kevin then sticks out her hand) We're getting married! Lana: Oh my gosh! (her and Kerry jump off the couch) Dang. That is one big rock. Kerry: Holy crap! Briana: (squeals) I know! Joe: Nice bro. Nick: How'd you afford that? Kevin: Your savings. Joe and Nick: WHAT?! Kevin: Kidding. I talked to mom and dad. Nick: Dude that's awesome. Briana: Oh my gosh. Now we gotta plan the wedding! And I have to call my parents and all my friends and- Kerry: Woah, Bri... chill for like 2 seconds. He JUST asked you. We still have time. Briana: I know but I want it to be perfect! Kevin: No matter what, it will be perfect. Because I'm marrying you... (he smiles) Briana: Aw! (she hugs him and kisses him) Kerry: (does a gagging motion to Lana) Lana: (laughs) Briana: (turns around) What? Lana: Um... nothing. Briana: (narrows her eyes) Liar. Kerry: Anyways! Briana, let's go talk to your parents. Sound good? Briana: Totally. Let's go. By Kevy. (she kisses his cheek) Kevin: Bye. (the girls walk upstairs) Nick: Dude. I can't believe you're getting married. Joe: This is insane! Kevin: I know. I'm so happy though. I love Bri so much... Nick: I have a question though... Kevin: What? Nick: Who's gonna be your best man? *With the girls* Briana: (calling her mom) Hey mom... Suzanne [A.N yeah, that's actually her mom's name. just fyi.]: Hey sweetie how's Hollywood? Briana: Um... good... Suzanne: Honey, what's wrong? Briana: Ok... so you remember Kevin right? Suzanne: Jonas? That boy you're dating? Briana: Yeah... Suzanne: Yes, I remember him. He's a sweet boy. Well, at least he is over the phone. Briana: Yeah... well I have to talk to you. Suzanne: ARE YOU PREGNANT!? Briana: What? No mom! Suzanne: Oh, ok. You had me worried Bria [A.N tis what her mom calls her. so im using it] Briana: Yeah, no I'm not pregnant. But this is about Kevin... and me... Suzanne: Yes? Briana: Mom... we're getting married. Suzanne: Huh? Briana: He... he asked me to marry him mom. And I said yes... Suzanne: I'm so happy for you! Briana: I know your mad but- wait. What? Suzanne: Honey! I could never be mad about something like that! I know how much you love him and he seems like a sweet boy. Briana: Wait... so you're ok with it? Suzanne: Of course! Oh my gosh... my baby is getting married! When's the wedding? Briana: We don't know yet, he just asked me today. But I wanted to call you and tell you. I thought you'd be mad because you've never actually met him... Suzanne: No sweetie, I'm so happy for you! Well, you go, you have lots to do! I'll tell your father and little sister for you. [A.N yeah, she has a little sister] Briana: Thanks mom. I love you... bye (she hangs up) Kerry: So? Briana: (hesitates to freak her out) Lana: Did she not approve. Briana: No, she did. I just wanted to freak you two out. Kerry: Well, let's go tell Kevin! (The all run downstairs to find Nick and Joe arguing about something.) Briana: Kevin... what's going on? ------------------------------------------------------------------- Gah, I know, it was boring. But it's a build up, they always are. OK! So I'm kinda in a writers block so if you have an idea, send me it with the subject saying "story idea" that way I know and I can find them easily. Also sorry it took so long. Puppies= LOTS OF WORK and no sleep. Ha.
