Backraga; Nate - Tala; Misra Chapu This pushpanjali in praise of Krishna,"Bhaje mana", was set to music and choreographed by Smt. Jamuna Krishnan on the poetry of Surdas. ... Sages and even the great Shiva meditates upon Him. Brahma worships Him, Sesha sings his praise, and goddess Lakshmi sits at his feet. Therefore, i also worship the lotus feet of that wonderful Krishna. Once, as Rama, it is those feet that delivered Ahalya from the curse of being turned into a stone. It is also those feet that the boatman washed with great devotion. My praises to lord Krishna, may He always reside in my thoughts, and deliver me from the cycle of birth and death. This was first performed by Jai Govinda in Delhi as part of the 1rst "Videshi Kala Utsav", hosted by The Sahitya Kala Parishad and Smt.
