THE PAINTED VEIL PART 2
BackThe Painted Veil is a movie based on the book by Summerset Maugham. This version was made in 2006, and it stars, Naomi Watts as Kitty Fane, Edward Norton as Dr. Walter Fane, Liev Schreiber as Charlie Townsend, Diana Rigg as Mother Superior, and Toby Jones as Waddington. A Doctor, (Edward Norton) marries a woman who does not love him, (Naomi Watts.) She only marries him to get away from home, but shortly after they are married she has an affair, and her husbands finds her out. Dr. Fane volunteers to go to China to help in a small village where there is a cholera epidemic. He makes his wife go with him as punishment, but the story turns when they arrive. The movie stars, Edward Norton as Dr. Walter Fane, Naomi Watts as Kitty Fane, Liev Schreiber as Charlie Townsend, Diana Rigg as Mother Superior, and Toby Jones as Waddington.
