BackFor more than 52 years Colombia, as a nation, was locked in a relentless battle with leftist groups, and Narco-traffic cartels who terrorized the good people of Colombia. U.S. media and movies always portrait Colombia in the worst way. Most people would not tolerate the totally corrupted portrail of their country like the way my country was portrayed in Romancing the Stone, Collateral Damage, Clear and Present Danger, etc... It is very, very sad. Unfortunately Hollywood interpretation is how many North Americans see Colombia, that is, the ones who haven't actually been there. Ken Robertson, who partly resides in Colombia is here to tell you the way it really is there. THANK YOU!!! Bless Ingrid Betancourt, whose perfectly executed rescue, and susequent show of courage and strength has filled Colombians with a sense of hope and promise for a bright future.
