Les Paul with Bare Knuckle Punch Pickups
BackShowing off my new pickups in my Epiphone Les Paul Standard Plus. I have just added a calibrated set of Bare Knuckle Punch Abraxis pickups with burnt chrome covers. These are hand wound, scatter wound, for a very natural sound. Also added to this guitar are a gotoh tail piece and bridge. They are the gotoh 510 series. The amp used here is a THD Univalve played through a custom cab with Ted Weber California speakers. The amp is plugged into the Roll setting. The pedals used here include Fulltone OCD v1.0 (actually serial number 40), ElectroHarmonix Holy Grail Plus reverb, and ElectroHarmonix Big Muff (Russian version). The video is recorded on a Sony Handycam. Some of the audio is recorded on a USB microphone using audacity (free software). I've been playing now consistently for about 4 months after a decade without touching a guitar. I'm just doing it because it's fun.
