BackBALCONYTV.COM 11/10/2008 PRESENTED BY KIERON BLACK The Big Girls Big Band was established in May of 2007 when five very talented, very beautiful babes got together to drink whiskey, eat 3-in-1s, and play some of the best swing big band music Dublin had ever heard. Bringing together a combined musical experience of over fifty years, the Big Girls Big Band is made up of an alto sax, a tenor sax, a trombone, a trumpet, a bass guitar and drums. We specialise in old big band classics from Glen Miller numbers to modern tunes like "Surfin USA", "Summertime" and "Muppet Show"! As our press release says, "A boisterous brassy sound guaranteed to get everybody out of their seats and jumpin' and jivin' to our old school beats!"
