We Say Forever... Do We Mean It? Episode 2
BackJoe had walked into the kitchen and found Nick and Trinity already in there, Nick fiddling with the frying pan, and Trinity getting eggs out of the fridge. Nick looked up at Joe. "How nice of you to join us, Joe." Joe merely rolled his eyes in a male manner, and then in came Kevin, all showered and dressed. Trinity looked up and her cheeks turned faintly pink. "Um, hiya Kevin. Would you like a spot of breakfast?" She kept her gaze down on the egg carton in her hands and walked towards the oven. This seemed to go unnoticed as Kevin opened the door of the fridge and took out a pitcher of orange juice. "I'm good, thanks. Not really hungry." There was a silence in the room as you could her his stomach make an abnormal noise. Trinity took a chance and looked at him, eyebrows raised and slight smirk apparent. "Not hungry, eh? Either your a really bad liar or your anorexic." Kevin laughed and Trinity smiled and lowered her gaze again. "I guess I'll have some of whatever you have then." He noticed a glint from Trinity's wrist and noticed her bracelet. "I like your bracelet." Trinity raised her wrist, and seemed to just notice it was there. "Hm? Oh, thank you, it's nothing posh, really, just thought I'd treat myself to it." She looked at Kevin again, and she smiled and he smiled back. Joe, oblivious to everything happening, he whined, "Will you please just start making breakfast!" Trinity giggled and Kevin, Nick and Trinity started on breakfast. Kevin made the pancakes, Trinity fried the bacon and Nick prepared the eggs. Joe sat down at the breafast bar and watched them bustle about. The house phone rang and Trinity went to look at the caller ID. She turned around and looked at Joe. "Your lady rings you up at 9:30? How do you survive?" Joe's face went red and he went to go answer the phone, taking it with him. Everyone in the kitchen remained silent, placing food on plates, and sitting down. Joe came back in the room, looking quite happy. He stated that he had to "split early because he was going to get breakfast with Taylor". He grabbed his keys and jacket and he left the house. Kevin turned to Trinity and Nick and he said: "Well, this blows. What do you guys want to do today?" Trinity got up and washed her hands. "Sorry guys, I've got to leave too, my mum lets me stay here for 99% of my life, but for it, she still gives me an arseload of chores. But I'll be back later. Let's do supper." Kevin and Nick knew Trinity well enough to know that supper was meant to mean lunch. Kevin and Nick agreed. "Call us, and we'll get you, then let's get...?" Kevin trailed off there, waiting for a suggestion, and Nick answered. "Well, I'm up for pizza and pasta. Trinity?" He raised an eyebrow at Trinity. "Uh, yeah! Sure, why not. Kevin?" She looked towards Kevin, and he nodded in agreement. Nick grunted and he placed his plate in the sink and left to go up the stairs, remaining in the kitchen only Kevin and Trinity. Kevin cleared his throat and looked around the room. Trinity also got up and placed her plate in the sink, but grabbing Kevin's as she did so, and she turned on the faucet. "S'alright, Trinity, I got it." He rolled up his sleeves and walked over to the sink, but Trinity hip-checked him as he stepped closer. "Kevin, your sweet and all, but everyone knows chivalry is dead. D-E-A-D, dead." He chuckled and she grinned in appreciation. "Maybe, Tee, but that won't stop me from helping you." He grabbed a sponge and ran it under the sink. Trinity plugged the sink, and let it fill. "That way, we'll save water." She placed her forearms on the edge of the sink, waiting for it to fill halfway. The soap bubbled up, and Trinity turned off the sink. She scooped up a handful of bubbles and blew them at Kevin. They popped in his face, and he gave a laugh. He retaliated playfully, by copying her actions. This eventually turned into a fight, and when the bubbles were all gone, they eventually started flinging water, getting themselves and the ground wet. After one nasty splash from Kevin, Trinity tackled Kevin to the ground, and with it being wet and all, they slid across it. They stopped sliding, and Trinity immediately got up off Kevin, she herself blushing furiously, but turned away so Kevin wouldn't notice. She went back to the sink as he got up and joined her. Trinity turned on the faucet and squirted more soap into the sink, and she turned to Kevin.
