Still You Ain't Changin', an original by Beth Mutchler
BackI don't have a clue where this came from, it's unlike anything I've ever done before, but I sorta like this jazzy little number that just kinda happened a few months ago. I didn't do all that great on the improv part, but as I said, I've never done anything like this before so I made it into a video format that I hope you all will enjoy :) Oh and the pictures are from a hike to a set of waterfalls near Blacksburg. One of many reasons I can't wait to get back there :) No, I didn't do the "fire and ice" on purpose... a song about fire and pictures of ice, but I'm glad sinawava42 pointed it out 'cause now I think it's pretty cool how that worked out! Lyrics Remember that fire That lit up your desire So everyone could see You had it in it for me But I couldn't see Every fire The flames were burning higher I thought that made us strong But I was wrong Boy, was I wrong Think of the music we made Oh, and remember all the love that I gave So you could feel the heat As I accepted defeat Oh, ain't that sweet May every fire Remind you of your desire And that everyone can see The way you treated me Ain't no way to be [Improv bit] So when you're dreamin' Be happy you're a free man They could lock you in Again and again Still you ain't changin'
