Mid Norfolk Diesel Gala, 15/03/08. Part 2 of 2.
BackWe start with resident 'Gronk' 08 631 departing Dereham with a short return trip to Yaxham. We then see 37 038 shunting in the loop at Wymondham Abbey before sampling some Sulzer thrash from a very claggy 47 596. If you are watching in high quality then at 04:18 you can see sparks and flames coming from the 47's exhaust. After filming the 47 at Dereham we move on to Peterborough to see Pathfinder's 'Choppington Changer' returning to London behind 92 029. At London we see the 92 on the stops along with an elusive HST power car I'd been hunting for some time. Valenta beasty 43 099 was the last power in use with National Express which still had its origional light clusters. An added bonus was the classic Valenta start up without any background noise. Enjoy!
