BackComment!! Comment!! Comment!! Next Day in First period class * Amanda- I can see your still following Rachel's advice. Emily- What? Amanda- Your wearing another striper suit. Emily- Huh? Amanda- Are you sure this is you ? Emily- Look, I've decided to change. Amanda- You've definitely changed. Emily- What are you talking about? Amanda- Your becoming another one of Rachel's followers! Emily- SO! Amanda- SO, I think it's a bad idea to be a follower! Emily- Maybe I want to be her follower! * Emily sits in the bathroom stall and takes out the diet pills. * Emily- [Thinks: It's only pills. Just plain old diet pills. Three pills that will help me loose five pounds. It's not that bad. I've got nothing to loose] * Emily slowly opens the bottle and takes one pill out. She pops it in her mouth and swallows it. * When Emily finishes the bottle, Rachel gives her another. * Mom- How are you? Emily- I'm fine! Mom- Wow, hold on there, I thought we got through the whole fight thing? Emily- We ARE! Mom- What's wrong baby? Emily- Stop calling me that! I'm not a baby anymore! Just leave me alone! *runs to her room* Mom- *shakes her head from side to side* * Amanda- Emily! Emily- Why are you talking to me? Amanda- Are you mad at me? Emily- *ignores her and walks away* * Joe- Emily! Emily- [Thinks: Uh-Oh!] Hey! Joe- Hey I was wondering if you wanted to- Emily- I'm sorry Joe, I really gotta go. Me and Rachel have plans! Bye! *runs out the school doors* Joe- *talking to himself* -to go out with me. *sad* * Over the next few days Emily starts having stomach aches * Emily sitting in her front porch * Emily- *crying* *groaning* * Nick- Joe! Mom says you have to take out the trash! Joe- Why can't you do it?! Nick-I'm doing my homework. Joe- I'm doing my homework too! Nick- NO your not! You never do your homework! You paid someone to do it! Joe- Fine! *When Joe steps out of the house, he already spots Emily* Joe- *throws the trash and walks over to Emily* * Joe- Hey! Emily- *wipes her tears* Hey! Joe- Why are you crying? Emily- I'm not. Joe- OK. What's been up with you? You're the not the same anymore. Emily- What do you mean? Joe- The first day I met you, you were this nice girl. Now your sort of a slut. Emily- *scoffs* Joe- I don't think it's best if you keep hanging around with Rachel! Emily- Since when do you care if I hang around with her?! Joe- Look at you. You have a body of a skeleton! Emily- Leave me alone! *takes out the bottle* *opens it and pops it in her mouth* Joe- *takes the bottle from her* Is this what you've been doing?! *mad* Emily- Give it back! Joe- *throws the bottle in the middle of the street**The bottle spills* NO! Emily- *runs to the street and pick the pills up one by one* *cries* Joe- *kneels in front of her* Emily, I know I just met you but I know you can do better, I know this is not you. *helps her up* *hold on to her arms* Remember what I said? *wipes her tears* *points to her heart* Emily- Why do you always know what to do? *smiles* Joe- Just promise me you'll stop taking this thing and be yourself again? Emily- *hugs him* Thank you. * Kevin- They're hugging in the middle of the street? Nick- I think girls like those nowadays. Kevin- *walks back in the house* Nick- *follows Kevin* * Mom- Emily! Emily- Mom? Mom- Do you still remember Brittany? Emily- Yeah, she's my best friend! Mom- She's on the phone. *hands her the phone* Emily- *covers the receiver* Hey mom, I'm sorry for the way I've acted. *runs to her room* * On the phone * Emily- Brittany!! Brittany- EMILY! Emily- Oh I missed you so much! Brittany- Me too! Hey I saw you dad! Emily- There? Brittany- YEAH! Emily- But he's in Australia for a business trip! Brittany- That's what I also thought. But what caught my eye is that he's with a woman and a girl about the same age as us. And he kissed that woman! I'm talking about just a simple lip touch I'm talking about FRENCH! And the girl had the same nose as your DAD! Emily- What? Brittany- I think the reason your parents broke up is that your dad was cheating on your mom!!
