BackGo check out 44 and 45... Layla: (gets out of the car and starts laughing) You brought me to Taco Bell? Nick: (smiles) I'm glad you like it... Again, I was shooting for the whole normal date thing. Layla: (laughs) I love it. (They go into Taco Bell and order food to go and come back out) Layla: So I have a feeling we're not eating here. Nick: Good guess. (They get into the car and drive for a couple minutes and then come to a stop) Layla: You know, normal guys would probably just eat at Taco Bell. Nick: I'm a normal guy, but I have to say... I do tend to try to impress the ladies. (gets out and opens the door for Layla) Layla: (smiles) Thank you. (gets out) We're at the pier? Nick: Yep. Come on. (He leads her to the end of the pier and they sit down) Nick: Deja vu. Layla: Except we really have been in this position before. Nick: Yeah, sorry... It's just that it's really nice here at night. Layla: Don't worry about it. The past is forgotten. (smiles at him) I love it here. Thanks. Nick: (smiles) I'm glad. (They start eating) Nick: So how was your first date? Layla: It was pretty good. Nick: Pretty good? Layla: (smiles) It was amazingly fantastic. Nick: (smiles) So you didn't get bored? Layla: with you? Never. (They laugh and continue on with their date. After they are finished eating, they start to slowly stroll along the pier while making their way back to the car) Layla: Okay, so next one. Um... A. Joe. B. Kevin. or C. Frankie? Nick: That's not fair. Layla: You have to answer it. Nick: Fine... I choose super secret hidden choice D. All of the above. Layla: (laughs) Good choice. Nick: Okay, so my question for you is: A.Joe... B.Kevin... C. Frankie ... or D. Nick. Layla: That's a tough one... I gotta say Joe is my favorite. Nick: Hey! (playfully hits her lightly on the arm) Layla: (laughs) Just kidding! Frankie is obviously my favorite. Nick: (laughs) Of course. Layla: No, but in all seriousness... If I had to choose one of you, I would choose you. Nick: (smiles) Good, cus I'd choose you too. (kisses her) Layla: (smiles) Okay... Three things you'd take with you onto a deserted island. Nick: That's easy an easy one, I'd take a boat. No need for anything else. Layla: (giggles) Smart answer. (They reach the car) Nick: (opens the door) After you. Layla: (giggles) Thank you... Again. (gets into the car) (Nick laughs and then gets in after her) --30 minutes later-- Layla: So I'll see you tomorrow on set, right? Nick: I almost forgot about that! Yeah, I'll see you tomorrow. (They stand there for a minute alternating their stares between the ground and each other) Layla: So, goodnight? Nick: Yeah, goodnight. (leans in and kisses her) Layla: Oh! I have your clothes! Let me bring them down for you. Nick: (smiles) I'll get them later. (leaves) Bye! (gets in the car and drives off) (Layla walks into her house with a big smile plastered to her face and walks into the living room to find Taylor and Nathan staring at her) Taylor: So... Nathan: So... Layla: (smiles and plops down onto the couch) IT WAS PERFECT! (They all laugh) Taylor: What did you do? Layla: We went on a 'normal date.' Nathan: What exactly does a 'normal date' consist of? Layla: He picked me up and we went to the movies and then we got Taco Bell to go and ate at the pier. Taylor: Aw, that's cute. Layla: (takes a deep breath and looks at Taylor) How was yours? What did you guys do? Taylor: (laughs to herself) Do you honestly want to know what we did? Layla: I honestly want to know what you did. Taylor: Well, I guess you could say we had a sort of adventure... :D!
