My Very Own JoBromance Chp 2-Please be Mine
BackIt took her a second to react, but then Kristen walked up to the guys, all smiles of course, and introduced herself. "Hi! I'm Kristen." She shook their hands one at a time, fist Nick, then Joe, with a slight giggle (God he's gorgeous!), and then Kevin. She didn't even say hi, and slowly lingered in the handshake looking into those gorgeous hazel eyes; she was speechless. Then she snapped back into reality with a slight shake of her head. "So, not that I mind, what are you guys looking for me for?!" "You won a top secret contest we had going on." Joe said with a smile. "Dramatic much?" Kevin said laughing, "not that it was 'top secret' but we did hold a contest for all the people that pre-ordered our last cd, and you won." "Won what?" Kristen was still overwhelmed. "A date, well, kinda." Nick threw in, "we're taking you to our show, full access." "Yeah, you get to spend the day with us as we get ready and watch the concert from backstage." Kevin said with a smile. "Wow," Kristen thought, "I could look at that smile all day!" "So, anyways, you gonna invite us in?" Joe said, breaking her stare. "Oh, yeah, of course, come in." Kristen hurried to the door to let the guys in. "So you guys want something to drink?" Kristen grabbed them a glass of tea, and they sat and talked for a while, getting to know each other. Then they had to leave to make it to the arena in time. Kristen spent the day watching the guys go through their ritual, and they made a point to let her be involved. At the show that night between songs Kevin stopped for a speech. "So today we got the pleasure of meeting a really cool person. She won a contest we did kind of secretly and so right now we want to bring her out and dedicate this next song to her." Kevin motioned for Kristen to come out onto stage. She was in shock, she just kept shaking her head "no" and so he walked over, grabbed her hand and led her onto the stage. She couldn't resist; he was holding her hand and wanted to sing to her, how could she say no. The guys sang "Please Be Mine" like they did at every other show, with her on a stool on stage. She'd seen it a million times, but now she was there, and she and Kevin locked eyes the entire time. ______________________________________ Okay so it's boring so far, but I gotta get all the basics " how they met" crap out of the way, so bear with me.
