Idlewild Park Carousel
BackThis is a 1931 PTC carousel at Idlewild Park in Ligonier, PA. It's one of the few antique carousels that has a working band organ and Wurlitzer Calliola which is a air opperated Caliope. I don't know what company made the band organ or what it was playing but I believe the Calliola was playing a medley of Rogers and Hammerstein songs. Let me know if anyone knows the manufacture of the band organ and the music it was playing. Note the leather leather stirrups on the horses on the outer ring (standers)
