Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei - Understanding True Love
BackThis clip is probably one of the most philisophical moments I've ever seen in anime. Hell, in all television. The main message is as follows: you first must understand death before you can understand true love, because true love is having a revolution in life which requires the death of the past, future, and all thought itself. It's the feeling in which all thoughts are into action and all actions flow from one to another without contradiction, such as sitting and standing. That, being impossible because us humans are made up of the past, only can be achieved with death itself. Confusing eh? Feel free to read it several more times. This was, of course, a reference to J. Krishnamurti's philosophy in his book, The Flight of the Eagle. Basically, in it he talks about releasing yourself from fear, judgements, etc. I had to do studies about him and I had a really great time reading his book. You should check him out, too! You should really watch this anime also. It's funny, smart, and probably one of the most addicting animes out there.
