Initially Buck was a session guitarist at Capitol records in Hollywood.Then he was signed to a recording contract by Capitol and the rest is Legendary music history. He later taught Don Rich his style. Buck and Don became the Lennon and McCartney of country music. They were really like two that became one when they were performing together. The sound they created in country music or any kind of music has and will not be duplicated,they had a synergy that was Heaven sent!!Buck Owens music lives on in a slew of artists today, but there is nothing like the sound of Buck Owens and the Buckarooos in their prime.
