Backhttp://www.ZS-Imports.com VW/AUDI - 1.9 Turbo Diesel Conversion Kit $3,995.00 Click to enlarge Brand new (not rebuilt) OE Factory - Rare and hard to find, EUROPEAN-SPEC, (Engine code ABL) 1.9 Liter TURBO-DIESEL engine long-block as used in European VOLKSWAGEN Transporter T4 (Eurovan) and certain Skoda and Seat models, along with a specially put together upgrade conversion kit that contains specific parts which allow you to install this modern Diesel engine engine into older VWs or Audis that were originally equipped with a 1.5, 1.6 or 1.7 diesel or turbo-diesel engine.These are virtually identical to the much desired AAZ engines with a few very minor subtle differences, namely an extra coolant bleed fitting on the back of the head as seen in pic above, which can easily be capped off or could alternatively be tee'd into the coolant return line, and a small raised metal boss on the front of the block that interferes with the stock Rabbit-style water pump, this boss needs to be ground off, this again is easily done, etc. Everything else off your old Rabbit style engine pretty much bolts right on otherwise, with the exception of the few minor mods outlined above, which again are easily rectified by anybody with a little mechanical aptitude. The auction is for ONE (1) VW/Audi 1.9 Turbo-Diesel engine long-block along with the upgrade conversion kit. THE UPGRADE CONVERSION KIT CONSISTS OF THE FOLLOWING BRAND NEW OEM VW/AUDI 1.9 DIESEL SPECIFIC ITEMS: 1. Valve Cover w/gasket, oil cap and securing hardware. 2. Timing Belt. 3. Tensioner. 4. Intermediate Shaft Pulley. 5. Crank Gear. 6. Crank Gear Stretch Bolt. 7. Vacuum Pump. 8. Oil Filter Mount w/gasket. 9. Intake/Exhaust Gaskets. These are ideal for Vanagon Diesel conversions as well as an excellent upgrade for most VW/Audi models that originally came with a 1.5, 1.6, 1.7, 1.9 Diesel/Turbo-Diesel engine, a partial listing includes Rabbit Diesel 1976-1984, Vanagon Diesel/Turbo-Diesel 1981-1992, Dasher Diesel 1979-1981, Quantum Turbo-Diesel 1982-1985, Golf/Jetta Diesel 1985-1995, Audi 4000 Diesel 1980-1984, etc. etc. THE ENGINES ARE COMPLETE WITH CYLINDER HEADS INCLUDING VALVES, HYDRAULIC LIFTERS AND CAMSHAFT, BLOCKS INCLUDING PISTONS W/ OIL COOLING SQUIRTERS UNDERNEATH, CONNECTING RODS, CRAKSHAFT, INTERMEDIATE SHAFT, AND OIL PUMP. They do NOT come with manifolds, injectors, injection pumps, turbo, oil pans or valve covers on them. They come pretty much ready to run simply by transferring your injectors, manifolds, injection pump, turbo, as well as your bolt-on accessories such as alternator/AC, flywheel/clutch etc. off your old engine onto these ones. If you do NOT have those additional parts, we could supply you those at additional cost, subject to availability. These engines all have a manufacture date of 11/04, so they are NEW NEW NEW!!! They all utilize the improved TDI-style crankshaft, which pretty much eliminates timing-gear failures that the earlier 1.9 TD engines were prone to. ****NOTE**** Minor modifications may be necessary to install these engines into an older vehicle, which can be easily performed by most folks with just a little mechanical aptitude!! THESE ENGINES CAN BE USED IN TURBO-CHARGED OR NORMALLY ASPIRATED (NA) FORM. The engines and conversion parts are in great new unused condition.
