BackWell the tour wasn't over yet but nick and Lauren were growing closer and on the tour i met this girl that me and lauren instantly became bffls with! yup her name was Nikki Flores. But it never fails that one of my brothers would like her! Joe told me and Lauren that he liked her. They talked for hours. and belive me there the same! Her parents even let her stay with us. Nick finally built the courage to ask out Lauren and then they were OFICIALLY bf/gf. Well Nick had to explain the diabetes thing to me a lot of times! but it was one of those days where i was weak. LA ( a nick name for lauren teehee) and Nick went on a date and then Nikki and Joe went on one. Kevin did have a date but he said he wanted to stay with me while i was sick. I felt horrible and didn't like it. But everynight i took out my guitar and played A little bit longer. I cried too. But one person that i couldn't get out of my mind asked me out over phone. Drew Haflt. He was amazing. He was also my best friend. Great times. I felt so bad that everytime he asked me out on a date, I was sick. He understood though, that's what i always liked about him. Joe was super protective of me now. there always asking me if i checked me omni-pod. i always did. Anyway enough about me let me tell you about Lauren and Nick's date. Nick took her to the one place that she always wanted to go to for a perfect date! A beach theme. and then they kissed in the rain! awww! KODAK MOMENT! but then that resorted in them getting sick but whatever! finally we were home. Nick and Lauren were insepreble and Joe and Nikki were in love! Drew and I were driving in teh car and he inspired me to write a song and then i showed it to Lauren. Lauren made me sing it for her...... Lauren: Please sing it for me! Ana: o.k. fine ( i turened on my laptop which had the music for the song and then i sang it for her) I was riding shotgun with my hair undone in the front seat of his car He's got a one-hand feel on the steering wheel The other on my heart I look around, turn the radio down He says baby is something wrong? I say no nothing I was just thinking how we don't have a song And he says... [Chorus:] Our song is the slamming screen door, Sneakin' out late, tapping on your window When we're on the phone and you talk real slow Cause it's late and your mama don't know Our song is the way you laugh The first date "man, I didn't kiss her, and I should have" And when I got home ... before I said amen Asking God if he could play it again I was walking up the front porch steps after everything that day Had gone all wrong and been trampled on And lost and thrown away Got to the hallway, well on my way to my left and back I almost didn't notice all the roses And the note that said... [Repeat Chorus] I've heard every album, listened to the radio Waited for something to come along That was as good as our song...
