SCARLETT JOHANSSON TO STAR IN SOME LIKE IT HOT REMAKE!!!
BackA 2010 remake of Some Like It Hot is in production, with actress Scarlett Johansson (The Prestige), who is in discussions to take the role of Sugar Kane Kowalczyk. The plot will be based on the original film directed by Billy Wilder, while Ron Howard is directing the reimagined comedy. Ashton Kutcher (Bobby) and Shia LaBeouf (Indiana Jones) will play the two cross-dressing musicians on the run from the mob. Bill Condon (Chicago) will write the screenplay for a 2011 release. Jamie Lee Curtis (Halloween) has expressed in interest in any supporting role. "I know, Im so excited for it! Ron Howard going to film the goddamn thing using green screens and sets! Hes going to blow your mind and I would do anything for him if that means hell have Bill (Condon) write me in," says Jamie Lee Curtis.
