THIRD PLACE! - Scully Video Contest
BackThis contest were for videos that illuminated the character of Agent Dana Katherine Scully, and one of the best things about watching all of the enteries was how many different takes there were on Scully -- there are so many different facets of her character and each of these videos looks at her in a different way. There were 22 entries to this contest and with so many great entries it was extraordinarily difficult to judge, but in the end the winners were: FIRST PLACE: Francescka for "Have a Nice Day -- Dana Scully" --the video is well matched to the song and excellently shows Scully for the kick-but FBI agent that she was SECOND PLACE: rachel190283 submitted three spectacular videos but in the end the winner was "Woman" which sees Scully as seductress THIRD PLACE: XFyellowbee, who is consistently amazing, submitted three great videos to this contest, all of which are deserving of recognition, but in the end the prize goes to "Dana Scully's Insights _ Miracles (Faith x Science)" for perfectly illuminating Scully conflict between her religious faith and her devotion to science. FORTH PLACE: sillyauntjen for "So Damn Hot" fantastically fun video which focuses on early Scully and how she was just too much for Mulder ;) FIFTH PLACE: XFRachgaz for "The X-Files -- Finally" a sweet and beautiful video about Scully's feelings for Mulder that also expresses a lot of insight into Scully's character and what it took for her to finally fall in love HONORABLE MENTION: DesertStorm494 for "X Files -- Long Night" a simple yet lovely video that looks at Scully having to deal with Mulder's disappearance.
