Separated into an upper and lower cluster, the 16 lakes descend from an altitude of over 2000 feet to about 1700 feet, which is why many call it The Land of The Falling Lakes. The lakes themselves cover an area of over 5 miles. There are many trails for those who love hiking, or who want to find a secluded spot for picnicking. In winter the frozen falls are magnificently stunning icy displays. In the summer the lush greenery is a perfect setting for exploring natures bountiful variety of woods and fauna.
