BackSong: Simple Song - Miley Cyrus. CHAPTER 10 ??: JOE, JOE, WAIT UP! Joe: Demi ?! Kevin & Nick: (look at each other) DEMI ? Demi: Hey guys (smiles) Joe: Hey Dem, what are you doing here? Demi: My dads business trip extended, and I called Bigrob to ask If you guys had time to hang out while you were in Nanaimo, and he told me about your school show, so I came to watch. Joe: Oh, so.. you.. saw It all? Demi: Yeaaah.. Joe (looks down): Oh. Nick: Well, Its great to see you, we haven't talked since the tour, how have you been? Demi: oh, just fine, (she looks at Joe) Kevin: Thats good, well, we're just going back to our hotel, want to come? Shawna: su- Demi: sure. (smiles) Joe: Alright! Hey, Courtney, Shawna.. Courtney: (looks sad) What? Joe: we'll see you guys later. Shawna (looks at Nick): Bye. Nick (hugs her): I'll see you at 7:30 (Courtney goes to hug Joe but he turns away and walks over to the car with Demi & his brothers) Courtney: (under her breath) bye.. (Courtney and Shawna walk home, [Authors note: Courtney does live far from the school] And Courtney immeditly goes into her room and sits on her bed, Shawna fallows and sits down besider her) Shawna: You okay? Courtney: .. no. Shawna: Why? Joe dedicated BB Good to you, I would be MORE then okay. Courtney: Well IM NOT. Shawna: .. okay. but why? Courtney: Did you see the way he was looking at Demi? Shawna: .. no. Courtney: Well, he was looking at her.. like, well.. i don't know. but he seemed so exited to see her, and like, completley ignored me. Shawna: As much as I don't like Demi, he was probably, like you said, just exited, he likes you, it's obvious. Courtney: GAAAH. I hope you're right. Shawna: I'm always right. Courtney: No you're not. *With JB & Demi at their hotel* Joe: So, how much longer was your dads business trip extended to? Demi: not long, we're leaving tomorrow. Joe: oh, that sucks. Demi: why? Joe: Im just, exited to see you. (he grabs her hand) Demi: oh, mee too. but, don't you have something going on with that Courtney girl? Joe: no... well, yeah. Kinda. We just met. Demi: you seemed like you liked her alot at the school. Joe: I like her, but... not ALOT. (Kevin and Nick were sitting in the living room part of their hotel, but not really paying attention to their conversastion, but little did Joe know, Kevin was) Demi: I see. Well, I don't really like her. Joe: You don't know her? Demi: yeah, well... she was giving me dirty looks.. Joe: sooo.. Demi: I just think you can do better Joe. Joe: better, like you? (he raised an eyebrow at Demi) Demi: ... well, (she smiles) yeah. (Demi leans in to kiss Joe, he is about to let her, but then remembers Courtney, and how that wouldn't be fair So he pulls away and looks up at her) Joe: Demi, we .. tried this already, remember, it didn't work out so well, you ended up breaking my heart. Demi: I know, and It was a mistake, I've missed you alot. Joe: I've missed you too, but, like I said, I do.. like Courtney, and I've moved.. on. Demi: (she looks down) I understand, (Joe see's her eyes start to tear up, he tilts her head up.) Joe: It might not always be this way Demi. Im coming back to LA in about two weeks or so.. (Demi wipes a tear away and stands up,) Demi: I think Im going to go.. Joe: you don't have too.. Demi: Joe, I do. (She walks out into the living room part of the hotel and looks at Kevin and Nick, Kevin acts like he wasn't listening and looks down to barry his head in a book, she runs out of the door, and Joe walks out) Kevin: Joe.. Joe: what? Nick: what did you say to her. Joe: she wanted to get back together I think. Kevin: uhh, Joe can I talk to you? Joe: yeah sure. (They walk into the bedroom) Kevin: Why were you acting like you hardly liked Courtney to Demi? Do you still like Demi? ------------------------------------------------ [authors note: Okay, soooo.. Im starting to get better at cliff hangers, I hope you guys like the story so far, The Demi and Joe thing will get interesting, BTW, I DONT LIKE DEMI LAVATO, OR SELENA GOMEz. I Like Miley though. Anyways, SOOO.. How will Nicks and Shawna date go? Does Joe still like Demi? Whats Joe going to say to Courtney? & Whats going to happen with Kevin and Candice?
