It was 6. I groaned as I rolled out of my bed onto the floor. Well this is a start I said to myself while getting up. After I got dressed and ate some breakfast, I started walking to school. I was about halfway there when a car pulled up. I looked over my shoulder and saw Nick in the drivers seat. "Ashley please just listen-" "I'm done listening to you Nick." "At least let me give you a ride." "No. I can walk." "Come on Ash, just one ride." "Nick, dont you get it? Were OVER." "Ash, dont you get it? I'm kinda in love with you." After he said that I stopped walking and faced the car. "Thats funny, cause when people are in love, the other doesn't normally cheat on the other person. How can you even say that when you were about to get it on with a slut at your house?" "Ashley, she came on to me. I would NEVER have had sex with her." "She might have come on to YOU but you didn't push her off either. Don't give any of that 'she was too strong' BS cause I won't believe it. Plus, you sure looked like you were enjoying yourself in there." "It was a mistake-" "You should have thought of that before Nick. Now, I'm gone." I said walking off. "So what became of what's her name, after she spent all your money? Did she leave you just like you left me? Well sometimes life is funny. Yes, I'll be glad to take you back, just as soon as I stop breathing. Maybe you should have thought about that, when you were cheatin." I walked into the school building and saw Caroline standing at her locker. "Hey chica," she said walking up to me. "Hey whats up?" "Is Nick here yet? I wanna kick his stupid little ass..." Caroline trailed off because she was looking at the door. I saw Nick walk in and as soon as he saw me, he started walking towards us. "Ashley, please just listen to me-" "No, you listen to ME buddy." Caroline said getting in front of me. "You do NOT deserve this girl. She gave you everything and what do you give her? The feeling of knowing the one guy shes ever loved is cheating on her with the school slut." By now everyone was looking at us, and Nick's face was in shock. "Let me tell you something I've been there before, I know what its like. Maybe you don't Mr. big shot but its not fun. You have no idea how STUPID you were. She gave you a second chance and you blew it. I hope that for the rest of your life you regret everything you did to her. And you remember what a douche you were. You lost the best thing in your life. How does it feel?" After she said that she turned to leave. Larissa was standing right where we were headed and Caroline went up to her. "Move slut," Caroline said. "Make me." That apparently was the wrong thing to say. Because Caroline did make her. She brought her hand back and slapped Larissa right across the face. I started laughing as we walked away. As I was leaving school I noticed a sign up sheet on the bulletin board. I walked over and saw that it was for our annual school talent show. I smiled and walked away... I've always wanted to enter the talent show, but never got the nerves to. As I was walking out of the school to go home, I saw Nick with Larissa. It hit me like a freight train and it hurt. I looked back at the school and ran inside and put my name on the list. I knew what I had to do. No matter how much it hurt. ------------------------------------------------------------- Sorry it took so long. Told ya I was busy. I went to 2 movies today, I saw the House Bunny again then later I saw Eagle Eye which was incredible. Anyways, idk when the next chapter will be. Probably tomorrow, but IDK.
