I like that she knows and that she tells Clark not to show off his powers like he did in the gym. Her and Clark's parents taught Clark about responisbility for his powers.

She's also the only one to see him survive an exploding trailer (see first episode). Good b-ball skills is one thing, but surviving explosions unscathed is quite another.
