Thank you for the correct. Many times I let the lyrics change to fit. I try to express the spirit of the song.

Thank you. Yes, Leadbelly played a Stella 12 string. They are worth a lot of money, if you can find one. Personally, for the style I play in Open tunings, I find the twelve string's sound with all those overtones a little too much for me. Besides, I don't want to spend all that extra time tuning strings. lol. Happy Holidays! Enjoy.

Fantastic sound in this homebuild "Bo Diddley Dobro". B.t.w., Huddy Ledbetter performed most of the time on a 12-string guitar.

great take on one of my favorite Leadbelly songs. I also agree that Rock Island Line probably refers to the Underground Railroad. Huddie had very progressive politics, friends with Woody Guthrie. I just love your music. Heck I even bought a CD of yours. I am looking forward to more of your videos.
